Gradings
The journey of martial arts excellence is marked by the time-honoured tradition of gradings. We utilise the National Governing Body grading syllabus of British Judo. The grading system is designed not only to recognise technical proficiency but also to celebrate the commitment, consistency, and dedication of our judokas.

At our Judo Club, gradings are not just about belts; they are about fostering a community of dedicated martial artists. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner, the grading process is a shared experience that unites us on the path to excellence.
Our gradings are a comprehensive evaluation of a judoka’s skills, knowledge, and overall development. The syllabus covers a diverse range of techniques, from fundamental throws to intricate groundwork, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of Judo. Beyond physical prowess, judokas are assessed on their adherence to Judo philosophy, etiquette, and sportsmanship.
